Was there a 2 dr Caprice in 1965?

Yes, there was a 2 door Caprice in 1965 as my father had one.
the caprice only came in a 4 door in 65. it was a luxury version of the 4 dr impala and was only available with a v8. in 66 there was a 2 door ,not in 65. if you want a 2 door you would have to buy an impala

No 2 Door Caprice's in 1965... there were in 1966. That advertisement is a 1966 (note the square clock). Trip65's answer is accurate.
