can we put a shorter lift for the hatch on Equinox to get it in reach of a short person so they don'y hurt themselfs

Maybe she can try traveling with other short companions, then when they need to reach things they can form a human pyramid?

Try this: when she opens the hatch, have a cord in the cargo area she can hook onto the hatch, then let it open all the way. When she wants to close it, she can use the cord to pull it down. BUT just so she doesn't shut the hatch with the cord dangling out, she'll have to unhook it and stow it in the cargo area, ready for the next time she needs it.

Push the interior or key fab again and it will close. No need to reach for it when it’s open
