why on a 2008 chevy impala after 14000 miles is my oil still clean? is this normal on this year of car?

I don't know but you should have changed it a long time ago.

i did change it .what i took out was unbelievably clean ,like no other chevy i ever owned

If this is the first 14,000 miles on the car I am not all that surprised that the oil is clean. Keep up those long service intervals and you will be prematurely buying a new engine!
