a '73 malibu is an A-body, as were all gm midsize cars in the 70's in the very late 70's and early to late 80's the platform was changed to G-bodies

look on the tag on the fire wall write down the numbers then go to a chevy site that decodes the numbers ( there's tons of them)

It's an A body.

G body are Malibu cutlass Monte Carlo etc 78-87
