Should be stamp on block. Is it already had a new motor. I have a 78 now lol 2nd owner and still has original 6 cylinder and crying for her 383. Lol but chevy block is always stamped but if u are not experienced, so 483 is a 350 block bor 30 over equal 383, 305 block bor 30 over 355,u can Google the block stamp numbers and u will get answer.
