i think a 76 s10 would be priceless since they didnt start making s10's till 82, and they didnt get a big 6 till a few years after that. s10s never had a inline 6 i think what u mean is a 76 c10
No such thing as a 1976 S10. Also the 4.2 inline 6 cylinder didn't come out until 2002 when the S10 was already axed. If by chance you mean C10 full size pickup with a 4.3, then the 4.3 V6 was swapped in & not original. The 4.3 didn't come out until 1985. With that said, a rust free 4wd short bed would go for around $4,000 in running condition whereas a rotten long bed 4wd with a smoking or non-running V6 might only pick up $500. Determine the value by comparing other trucks from 73-87 & see what they are selling for on Craigslist. Add value for 4wd, subtract for the V6. Mileage means very little on a truck that old. Short beds are more valuable than long beds. Subract value for rust & nasty looking interior, add value for a good fresh paint job & interior.
