Hi friends, first check to see if the plug wires are arcing. Remove boot from plug. Look inside. See signs of arcing? This was a problem almost right away, and remains so today. Perhaps it's injectors, but GM had/has problem with factory wires, on the 4.3. my own had #4 wire arcing, doing same thing. Replaced wire, runs fine again. And, my wires were all new Delco Replacements. Best to replace with aftermarket silicone wires. Best wishes. Mike
