I have a2000 L460-E transmission and want to put it in a1994 S10 but have been told that I cannot because one is OBD 1 The other OBD 2. I just want to change tranny's not complete engine and trans

Your OBD1 computer will not run the 2000 L460-E trany. That requires a OBDII computer to run it.

Automatic Transmissions these days are all computer controlled and it is the same computer that runs your engine so the two go together.
