Sounds like a timing issue...How did this all start, like all of a sudden, progressively or working on it?
Progressively keep getting worse. My blazer ajust timming its self don't no if it might have something to do with that
There sparks come off some of plug wires where it plugs on plug and sparks come out coil. U can only c the spark in the dark and my wires ant that old.
Plus when u give it gas it want reve up good and lights get dim
So let me get this straight, the engine is barely turning over, but will start if it spins fast enough? One problem is when you mentioned about the lights going dim when you rev it up, that is a slipping belt that would be stretched or a weak belt tension-er and bad idler pulley. In this case the alternator would not be able to charge the battery properly. A run down battery fits what you describe, am I on the right track?
