I have a 93 chevy silverado 1500 5.7 . Truck started dying and after 30 min would start again untill it warmed up and then would die again. Have 117 miles on it. Have replaced fuel pump, Oxygen sensor

May be clogged catilac converter,does this when they heat up.

Thought that to T_S_T but seeing they say it starts right back up a clogged converter would have to set for a bit to let it cool off before it starts again. I think that is a question to ask Impulse _902 does the vehicle start right back up after cutting off or do you have to wait a few minutes before starting again ?

Yes. The first thing I changed was the oxygen sensor Had a code # 13. Still had same issue. But then it will not start. Could get it to turn over and run, As long as I had my foot in it. Then changed the fuel pump. Still. same prob. I am not getting fuel to the tbi. Tested fuel relay works fine. Replaced IAC. Following instructions and reset emc. Still will only start and run if I have my foot in it. Am also having white smoke comming from both tail pipes while I do have it started and can smell fuel really strong. Tested the map sensor No difference. Except I did get a code # 34. Reset system Now only code # 12. Dont think its the map. Have also checked all fuel fuses and I am getting spark from the coil and cylindersIm stumped. I hope I do not have to check the fuel pump pressure. Its new, And I can hear both relay and pump working. I really dont think its the cad, I had duel exhaust put on a bout a yr ago.It Has really got me stumped.

If you you have to hold the gas pedal to the floor to keep it running I am going to agree with T_S_T have your catalytic converter checked

Straight pipes no converter. My b friend just reminded me of that. its duel exhaust.
