Does the XFE have a reduced towing capacity? Everything I read is different. CarGuru's says the 5.3 in all trims is good for 10,700. The spec sheets on Auto Trader range from about 5500 lb's to 6500?

Everything I read is different. CarGuru's says the 5.3 in all trims is good for
10,700. The spec sheets on Auto Trader range from about 5500 lb's to 6500
depending on trim, etc.
How much less towing is the 4.8 rated for then the 5.3?
Trying to figure out buying a used rig. Thanks.

Depending on the year a silverado 1500 with a 5.3 can be rate for anywhere between 4400lbs to 7500lbs. No 1500 silverado will be rated for 10k

This is not true in the owners manual of my 2011 Silverado with the 5.3 6 speed and 3.43 gear it's says 10'600
