I have a 2004 chevy silverado 1500. 5.3 engine. need to replace the engine. looking for a used motor so does ayone know what years of chevy trucks do i search for where the engine will swap over?

I would think that if you find a 5.3 engine that it would work. You may have to swap some parts from one engine to the other in order to get it hooked back up as it was...
