i have a 1995 chevrolet 1500 with a 350 long block motor. Im asking if i can put a 350 long block motor from a 1985 chevy

Ya you can. You would need to put the TBI & intake manifold from the 95' on to the motor of the 85' in order to make it run. Also the distributor, coil, etc all the 95' set up onto it.

Just make sure the proper bolt holes are in the heads to mount the power steering, alternator, AC if you are to use. Make sure and install the right crankshaft pulley for the 95' also. Just a transplant.
