1 power window not working ( driver side) Help??

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The master switch in my truck can operate all windows except drivers side window. I was able to get the window to move up and down with a jumper cable to a battery. ( does this mean the window motor is good?) I replaced the master switch, but to my disappointment it didn't fix the problem. I still can't get the driver window to work. I am novice when it comes to electrical stuff. What should I check next?? I can't figure out why only 1 window doesn't work.

I forgot to add above. It is a 1997 Silverado Z71
