My tail lights are doing funny things

My 1997 Chevy truck tail light one side
works the other don't I replace the right side
but they still don't work

CHECK/CLEAN/SOCKETS/GROUNDS...MAYBE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ALSO ..YOU DIDNT SAY MUCH....
