1999 Chevy Silverado battery issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Battery is drained and new battery ran truck for a week.  Volt meter on battery
shows zero when attached to the terminals.  pulled the battery and it shows 13
volts.  Ohm meter show no resistance on the pos an neg wires.
