My 1990 chevy silverado 2500 hd 5.7 motor is
leaking coolant out the radiator cap but is not over
heating the oil looks good is not milky and not
smoking when i drive it..i was toldnit might be a
blown head gasket?

Maybe you just need a new radiator cap. If you remove the cap (when it is cool) do you see bubbles escaping from the coolant? If so you may have a small compression leak. Make sure there is no engine oil in the coolant.

I bought a new radiator cap so i dont think thats it..how do i fix a compression leak..it is leaking really bad out from under the cap
