2008 Chevy Trailblazer

Where is the fuel filter located?  I’ve been told it’s inside the tank with the
pump and then I’ve seen pictures of it outside next to the tank.  I’ve looked
and can’t see it.

08 is in the tank for sure. 06 and up, the filter is not serviceable. 05 and down, the filter is on the frame rail.
