2004 Chevy Trailerblazer. Rear Window Wiper. Sounds like it is slipping. Wiper does not move, but the mechanism sounds like it is running. Help. How do I get this to stop?

it might be as simple as tightening the nut on the end of the shaft. there is usually some kind of cover over the nut that you have to pry up with a screwdriver or something. open it up and see if you can tighten the nut under it.
