i have a 1986 560 sel, wiit many engine vacume leaks.

an estimateted repair of 1,997.00 , by an euro repair center for specifed areas , injector vaccum rail & throddle body plate, way to much money for me! any suggestions.

You can find vacuum leaks by idling the engine and spraying carburetor cleaner along the intake manifold and accessories, listen for any changes/roughness in idle as you spray, they denote spots where leaks are.

thanks for the info this process worked great found multiple leaks i removed the intake manifold and replaced averything rubber or plastic, so now it runs better but it still slowly increases idle up to 1700 rpm, any ideas

Try disconnecting the battery for a full minute. The computer may need to reset and re learn the fuel tables
