Hold on a minute..maybe I can help. What is 'gasges'?? If you mean radiator and overflow, sometimes called the 'puke tank" you put antifreeze in both. Either pre-diluted from the bottle, or 50-50 water and 100% anti-freeze (increase that ratio to more anti-freeze if you live someplace where it gets 40 below, most places in the US 50-50 is fine). The radiator should be full. Almost all the way up to the cap. If you can see cooling fins, it's low. If you can't get your finger in to the coolant it's low. In the overflow, or holding tank, usually plastic and a small hose going to radiator, COLD, it should be about 1/4 full. Both accept coolant/water. NEVER NEVER pop the radiator cap off unless the engine is COLD.

The cap on the passenger side is the reservoir for the windshield washer and the one on the drivers side is for coolant. The cap on the hose from the engine is for filling up the whole system when you change out the coolant and for burping the system afterwards.

If the check engine light is one you can get the code by turning the ignition key fast 3 times from of to on, leaving it on on and the code will appear in the dashboard where the odometer is. Then you can go to this site to see what the code means: http://www.wjjeeps.com/faultcodes.htm
