I have a 1999 Dodge Durango that just quit as I was driving down the Highway.

I can hear the fuel pump come on and I have sprayed starter fluid down the throttle body.  No response what so ever.  Was running fine up till then, just lost power and coasted to a stop.  Any ideas before I spend a bunch having it checked out.

check the simple stuff. you hear the pump but do you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail? if so are you getting fire? im still kinda confused. it was just fine and you sprayes ether in the tb? and instantly it took a shit? or?? clear me up. why? what for? all that stuff

Sounds like you have lost spark mite need a new coil or blew a fuse to the ignition. Or your timing chain has gone out.
