I have a two-fold question: 1 - I own a dodge durango with a 4.7L engine, and I am going to but a 2005 limited with a 5.7 (or 5.4????) Hemi engine. Is the gas milage about the same, and 2 - More imporant, is the engine harder to work on than the 4.7?...It actually looks a little smaller in size..Thanks for your help....

Mileage will be similar to a little less depending on the condition of the vehicle and how you drive it. Advertised MPG for the 4.7 engine is 14 city / 19 hwy versus 13 city / 18 hwy for the 5.7 Hemi for a 2005 Durango 4x4. Is it easier to work on? Depends on whats wrong with it and your level of experience. Maintenance costs should be about the same or similar.
