will a motor from a 1999 durango 4.7l 4w fit in a 2002 durango that has a 4.7l also? the intakes are different but if i swapped the intakes will it work

It would fit, not sure what differences there may be between the 99 and 02 transmission, some subtle changes might have been made in electronic controls, harnesses, and sensors. The engine computer would need to be programmed and it's not always possible to reflash to an older engine specs. It might be easier to swap over the 99's computer, but then you have to make it sync with all the 02's modules and sensors, and especially program it for the anti-theft. Ideally, you'd want to swap from another 02. Dodge loved to switch around harness connectors and module connectors every damn year.
