what would cause the driver seat to not move forward/rearward

if it's a power seat, did you check the fuse? otherwise, look under it and see if something is jamming the seat where it won't move.

Related question - my driver's side motor works - moves front and back but only travel about a quarter inch - no visible obstructions - is there a sensor that needs resetting regarding travel distance or is it just a corkscrew shaft that runs out? Any thoughts? Thanks ...Milty
