the front driverside turn signal works if headlights are off but if lights are on the it doesn't work and parking light bulb won't light up either which is the same light bulb for the turn signal

I have same problem. Mechanic said it was switch. Put new one in and now both running lights or front turn signals when headlights on. Rear lights work fine just fronts. Cleaned 2 off the grounds. What could be problem???

Try running a temporary ground to wire to turn signal ground (black wire)
I have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan my right front turn signal parking light wouldn't work with my headlights on it would be dim with the headlights off I had to ground the headlight and the turn signal and now it works just fine it's a body ground if you can find it that's causing the problem ground the headlight and the turn signal and all should be good
You are correct! Added new ground wires and all lights work now!
