Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 dodge ram 1500 with a 318 its 2
wheel drive with overdrive it will start fine
and idle can even drive it down the road
untill it gets up to running temp than it will
just spit and sputter and sounds like
something is knocking than dies. It does
the same thing if you try to start it back up
even a couple hours later but will start fine
the next day untill it reaches running temp
again when a snap on computer was put on
it all the codes cane back fir the tranny but
it has a rebuilt tranny and seems to shift
fine down the road the only thing it does it
seems to not want to shift into over drive it
feels like its about to but than just stays in
drive
