Is it ok to use a different size rime

I have a 2012 Laramie that uses 20inch rims i was
wondering if i put 17inch rims on it for winter use
will it effect my truck in anyway or do i have to do
anything

The Speedo my read a little off but it should be fine

Your truck had 17" wheels as an option. I have little doubt proper sized 17"wheels (width, bolt pattern and offset) will work. Your stock size is 275/60/20. 275/75/17 tires are close to the same diameter.
