Throttle position Sensor
always connects to throdle shaft to measure throdle tilt , a simple pontimeter,3 position
It is by the throttle body and you need to remove everything to get down to it. It's a plug in unit probably with a white section that plugs in. I am going to send you a PM with more info.
It may have four Torx screws that need to be removed so have some around It is on the air inside of the throttle body and looks like the picture.
I'm not sure how different your truck is from my 1997 but on mine the tps was fully visible from the driver side right there on the side of the throttle body. Mine looked just like Ilregal's pic and did in fact have two torx bolts holding it on.
