i changed my gas cap to a key one on my 1998 dodge ram 1500..couple days later truck just didnt want to go. seem to be starving for gas..Fuel pump? or just change the gas cap again?

Up until yesterday the oil gauge in my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 would go to 0 - the check gauges lite would come on and pressure would be restored just as quickly as it had been lost. I have a 98 ram 1500... my step dad backed his 2500 into it just to the left of the gas cap... it kinked the vent hose where you put the gas in... how do i unkink the hose so i can put gas in. 3 Answers
Also dificult to get the gas cap off... broke some of the lastic around that holds it in place... but i dont smell fumes so i dont think theres an evap leak.
