why my 2012 dodge is stuck in 4th gear manual, it wont stay in drive?

it has the option to switch the truck to manual, from starting the truck it will be in drive
then switch automatically to 4th gear manual, and cant shift down or up. and it wont stay
in drive ..? its a 2012 with the hemi.

This happend to me after a undercarriage wash.comes and goes but finally stuck in 4th gear . devastating considering I just dropped 5800 into it imeadiatly after warrenty over.transfercare and powersteering gone from 1 snow storm... before that I blew 3 rads. I hate this fucking piece of shit
