Doors lock randomly throughout the day!

Many vehicles lock the doors once the transmission is put in drive and the vehicle moves a little. Try reading your owner manual to see if what you have is normal.

bad key fob the key pad is breaking down and shorting out

Mine was doing the exact same thing. I took apart the key fob and there is a metal piece that is glued to the lock button. That came undone and was touching the metal circuits on the board. I glued mine back onto the rubber which kept it away from the circuits and now it works perfect.
