Front Wheel Bearings, 4WD 2500 diesel, 2010 Ram

Dodge 2500 off road 6.8 diesel with towing package, 62,000 miles, dealer telling me both front wheel bearings failed.  Never been off road. New front tires wear in 5,000 miles 3/32 off both outside front wheels.  Dodge house says bearings are gone.  $1200 dollars and not covered in the famous 100,000 mile warranty.  In these days, is it possible the wheel bearings are bad at 62,000 miles???

It is possible. Parts fail, you could be in the small percentage. Is the warranty 3rd party or thru Dodge. If it is 3rd party try a complaint on there 800 number. If it is thru Dodge try a few dealers in your area till someone bites. Make a stink at the dealer, talk to the service manager. If that fails ask to speak to a Dodge regional rep.
