Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rear liftgate rattles especially going over bumps. It seems to be the pistons?

Some lift gates have rubber stops on the inside, adjust them outward slightly on where you think is the issue. Maybe tighten up the latch? Replacing the lift supports might help if they are worn.

Thank you. The lift supports seam ok, in that there is little play when I pull them and twist. It didn't start this rattle until it got cold.
