The diagram is for headlamp switch, red wire with white tracer at headlamp switch should be hot all the time. Use a test light to check for voltage. Is it hot?

Did you ever find the problem with your lights ? My 89 B350 is doing the EXACT same thing yours was doing. EXACT same thing. Have found that when i push the brake pedal - Terminals B1 & B2 both lose power.

No Headlights, Park Lights, Brake Lights, Dash Lights, or Horn. If i push the brake pedal - or the Horn - B1 & B2 both lose power to them. This is with the headlight switch disconnected and taking readings from the plug/receptacle.

Solved ... Corrosion build up inside the bulkhead connector at firewall. Wire L1 (Red-White stripe) heavily compromised at the external terminal. You have to remove the exterior half of bulkhead from firewall - then roll up the rubber covering - to expose the external terminals to inspect. ...aka = long term water damage
