I have a 95 c280 . wont crank , battery is fully charged all lights, radio, etc work but wont even try to crank when you turn the key over. any ideas ?

Before you buy a starter motor on eBay (bad move) test the purple wire going to the starter. That's the starter signal wire that becomes energized when you're cranking the engine If there's no power there then the problem is (most likely) the ignition switch or the starter relay.
