I have problems with my remotes it locks arms and unlocks fine but when i try to start it from the remote the alarm goes off,i thought it might have been from the battery being low witch it was but i replaced the battery but it still panics.

aftermarket accessories in it? The doors have to be locked and you have to hold the button for a few seconds
I'm having the same problem! My cousin works for GM and told me the remote is bad and needs to be replaced. Also i'm having a problem with the battery coming loose inside the remote and it not working at all! I have a 07 with 50,000 miles and need to buy 2 new remotes already! I'm going to be going on Ebay and trying to find a cheap one, bec why buy factory if they don't last either.

i have fixed this problem before. A lot of times it is because there is a short somewhere on your circuit board. Check to see if someone has done some soldering around the battery clip. Its common for them to break there and if it is soldered messy then it could create a problem. check out keylessfix.com they have some good advice on these problematic remotes.
