If the car has had the proper maintenance, the engine and transmission should last.

Yeah, high mileage but not that old, indicating highway miles as opposed to traffic stop and go and a million 4 block trips to the grocery, less start /shut off cycles than most '06 cars

sounds a little high for an 06, with those miles, although many clean high milers out their, still great if purchased right, the warranty's sold extra can help but not always worth purchase, I take a car like this, est. the cost of ,say a transmission as you call a shifter, rebuild and its about 1400$ for that car. so put that in your pay price you may need it later. now your paying 65 too high! still chancing other factors.for this model, Id say sell me this car for no more than 38 or ill walk, but im a no fus no mus buyer! keep your warranty, just give me the car! now take it for a nice test, drive. try all windows, air, smooth brakes, shifting, radio ect. not running hot, no rattles, non smoker, all look good, buy it.but at a good price.dont get excited its a new car to you,but many more out their, youll find another.if private party they may think otherwise, walk, dealers know what sells and for what and if not buried in costs will give you a gift quite often,

Yeah thats alot of miles. Personally I hate Chrysler's ive seen many problems with alot less miles. Not so much transmission trouble but motor issues. I would steer clear If it were me. But im not the one looking to buy one. Find you a nice mustang instead!

I can't help but notice how many questions there are about Chrysler products especially on Dodge Rams

I thought the price might be high but KBB.com shows $5K to be about 10% lower than the value in my area. Asim should check for his area and add the options.

Depends on the engine- but I ran my 2007 supercharged RT unmolested block to 135000 with no issues.

I just bought a 2015 Charger RT with less than 33,000 miles on it, broke down after 2 weeks. I'm being told that corrosion was in the shifter. Perhaps an older one is better, but the price seems WAY to high.

I maintain my Dodge Charger 2010, SXT at the AAA maintenance schedule. I change out the fluids, tension struts at 135k , timing chain at 78k when I asked about it. Oil changes every 5k, rotate tires, just got Michelin after last got me 56k. Car runs great but I do not push it. But when I need too it goes. I have 136k on it. Hard to give up a good car that lasts when you take care of it.

156 k , great sound system, needs suspension work, shocks - so far so good. I’m a Toyota fan , so I was very surprised and satisfied with my 2008 charger. Mercedes and dodge merger. Consumer reports will tell the story. Big G
