where can I find the frame number on a 1070 chevelle ss

I have purchased a 1970 chevelle SS and am doing a frame off restoration. I would like to check the frame number to make sure it matches the vin number. If anyone can tell me where the frame number is it would be very helpful

it in the back on the cross member below the trunk it faces up .

Thanks for the information. Is that the cross member between the trunk and the rear bumper or the cross member above the rear axle?
