spilled a cup coffee on the console and the dash went wild and now won't hit out of park

Probably shorted the shift interlock.

Next time try de-caff. Check all fuses, and contacts to see if there were any shorts that smoked any wires. If you can, clean all contacts, and if any wires appear to have shorted out, (discoloring of the wires, or burn marks,) replace that wire. You also could of fried the computer. Have it read for functionality. You just may have to reset the computer. Try that before replacement.
