I have Mercedes benz CLK500  2003  when I put my key into the ignition it
wouldn't turn the car on or no lights would come on now , At first I was able
open the door with my key car remote, now nothing will come on

Take the board out of fob and clean it. This just happend to me as well, that is almost one hundred percent your answer.

The answer from Ed92626 is correct. The key will not turn with a dead battery. Jump car by connecting cables and turning key like normal. Check water level in battery and try to put decent charge on it. You should be good from there.
