truck only starts on ether

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

new fuel pump & filter (55 psi run 62psi start). new plugs, wires cap & rotor. removed, cleaned & tested the spider injectors. new gaskets & seals. new mas air flow sensor. checked all fuses & relays. once started runs like new.could it be the ignition starter switch?

No would not be switch if it will start with stating fluid,sounds like it may be a bad spider injectors.

Just spent another $ 100.00 this time on a new ignition starter switch. In addition to special sockets & replaced the faulty switch. Starts fine & runs great. PS. I cleaned and tested all 8 injectors earlier. We all know GM has had problems with ignition switches. Stupid me I should have started there!

01 S10 blazer with same issue. I don't understand how it could be the ignition if it'll crank on ether. without a spark, even ether won't burn. How could ether help an ignition problem?
