Need to know what is going on with my truck.

Asked by Sandaman Feb 01, 2024 at 11:37 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet C/K 2500 LS Crew Cab HD RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started out not running when I got it. Turned out
the spider injectors burnt up so we replaced
them and it ran great for a week. It sat for two
days without running, then I went to start it and
it wouldn’t start. Turned out the new fuel
pressure regulator went bad already. Replaced
that and then it started up but ran rough,
wouldn’t idle right, would stall out. If I put it in
gear it would die on me. It’s showing a P0122
after replacing everything. We put in a new
throttle sensor and a new map sensor, it ran
good for a minute then went back to running
bad. Need help figuring this out, any help is
much appreciated.

Did you get the correct throttle position sensor? I'm seeing different ones for vehicles equipped with traction control and without traction control, option code NW7. Did you replace the pigtail (plug) for the throttle position sensor? If so are you absolutely sure the wires are hooked up correctly? Jim
