My 1997 Chevy 3500s dash lights, tail lights, side running lights, licenses plate light will not turn on. It used to work when I would wiggle the headlight switch a bit, but now it wont work at all....

the transmission has never been worked on in previous years; in other words the transmissions linkage has never been messed with or any parts replaced just regular maintenance fluid changes.
