i lost my fuel cap key. what should i do?

First thing I would do is try and unscrew it. Sometimes, even if you locked it, you can still unscrew it if you didn't double check it at last refill, just a thought. Next, maybe purchase another cap identical to the one on the vehicle, you would be surprised how many caps have the same key. Hope this helps.

thanks but i was in a hurry and went to oriellys. keys dont match very well in oriellys and the dealerships cant just get one for me, so i called a locksmith and will buy a cap that doesnt lock all for around $20.
