I have a 1989 C1500 2wd 305 700R4 standard cab with a square headlight that I think
looks like hell. I would like to replace it with grill/lights setup that came out a year (I
think) later. Looks much better I think. Would a replacement light kit work or would I
have to replace the whole grill?? Thanks for your input.
find the grill you want in a junkyard, then look for the screws holding it on- if the pattern is the same as your present grill, it should fly- if you have to change headlights, sounds to me like more trouble than its worth
all the parts would be interchangeable from 1988-1998 on the c1500. find a good donor truck so you can get all the parts at once. this is a great way to upgrade. this should be a complete bolt-on install. some people even swap out the whole front end for one from a Cadillac Escalade.

i put the vortec heads n intake on the old 350 block n i am told that i will also need to change the crank sensor?? if yes or no and if anything else needs to be switched
