what all needs to be switched when using 78 350 block and 97 heads n intake???

i put the vortec heads n intake on the old 350 block n i am told that i will also
need to change the crank sensor?? if yes or no and if anything else needs to
be switched

78 won't have a crank sensor. It also won't have a balance shaft. Oil pressure sender threads won't match. It's not really a swap your "should" do but it's possible
