Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had problems with that this past winter. Where can I grease up? the track?

You can try to grease up the tracks by applying some grease with your finger to the top and bottom tracks, don't know why water would get in there though? maybe from car washes? but if you apply enough grease to the running tracks then it should disperse the water and hopefully stop freezing up.

Be careful! I had a similar problem on my passenger side sliding door on my Mazda 5, and just tonight while far away from home on holidays, the door popped out of the track that holds the rear of the door scratching and denting my rear quarter panel. Upon inspecting the rollers the one roller had a flat side indicating that it had seized. Take it to a dealer and have it looked at before this happens to you!

I cleaned my track out with degreaser and wiped it dry with a towel and haven t had a problem since grease leads to a lot of collected dirt in the track i cleaned mine out very happy I did .thank you
