Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had to replace plugs 3 times in the last 3/4 months. does anybody have any idea why? i have been letting it warm up and idle out before driving and letting it idle for 30 seconds to a minute before turning it off to try to avoid the problem.

Have you been making sure to properly gap the plugs? What do the plugs look like when you pull the old ones out?

the plugs have just been building up a lot of carbon and miss-firing. idk why it is running like that, it may be running lean

Okay. Here's a chart to compare the plugs to, that should help with the diagnosis.
