Is the fuse to the fuel pump, on my 84 Fiero always hot ? PLease explain. 2.5L

"Hot" as in electricity is on all the time? That may be okay because the electricity is supplied to the pump, through the fuse but only when the ignition key and motor are turned on to complete the circuit. Now if it is "hot" to the touch, that may be a sign it is too small of a fuse for that circuit and might burn out. Or it may be a loose connection. Check the manual and use only the correct amperage fuse for the fuel pump circuit. I hope that helps.
Yes, it should be hot at all times. That fuse is actually to the ECM(computer) . The ECM (computer) turns the fuel pump on by grounding the fuel pump relay. Good luck.
